Quanah Parker was head of a band of Comanches known as the Kwahadi. He was the son of Cynthia Ann Parker and Nokona, then head of the Kwahadi. She was a captive child who grew up as a Kwahadi. Quanah is shown seated in a court house chair during a meeting when President Teddy Roosevelt appointed him as a federal judge of the Indians at Cash, Oklahoma.
